UI CHALLENGE 3: LANDING PAGE

For the Seal Conservancy Landing Page, the following elements were incorporated to enhance user experience and increase engagement:

  1. Emotional connection through visuals: To connect with potential donors, real pictures of the current seals at the Seal Conservancy's rescue are displayed on the landing page. This design strategy builds an emotional connection with the audience and encourages them to donate. Moving past the MVP, I'd like to explore seal profiles and a way to livestream their activity to interested parties.

  2. News and Recent Articles: The Seal Conservancy's efforts to make a difference are showcased through regular updates in the newsletter and project updates. This feature helps to build trust with potential donors and encourages them to support the organization.

  3. Clear Mission Statement: A clear mission statement is displayed prominently at the top of the page, making it easy for visitors to understand the non-profit's goal. This helps keep users engaged and interested in the site.

These design elements aim to create a positive user experience, encourage engagement, and increase donations for the Seal Conservancy.
